I had my son’s car towed to Main Street Tire when it would not start and we were unsure of what was wrong. The staff at Main Street was so helpful and got my son’s car in for a diagnostic test right away. They informed me that his engine had locked up and would need a new engine. Needless to say that was upsetting to think of the cost for a new engine. They further informed that my son’s KIA Optima was know for engine lock ups and I might want to check with KIA first to see if there were any recalls on the year his was manufactured. They could have just sold me a new engine and not given me that information but because of there honesty and integrity they wanted the best resolution for our situation.
I did contact KIA and there was a recall for that year if Optima. KIA let us know they would be replacing the old engine with a brand new engine at no cost to us.
Thank you so much Main Street Tire for you integrity and honesty. You looked out for your customer before yourself.
I would not hesitate in any way to trust these people with any vehicle!!! A 5 star rating just doesn’t seem like enough!!

My son's car would not start so we had it towed to Main Street Tire. After looking at the car they let me know the engine was locked up and would need a new one. They could have tried to sell me an engine but instead they told my that my son's KIA had a lot of issues with the engines and before they did any work I should check with Kia. I'm happy to say that KIA did have a recall on my son's model and are putting in a new engine free of charge. I would not have known that had it not been for the honesty of Main Street!! I will not go anywhere else! EVER!!
